“ Definitely recommend the dishes - appetizers, main course and the delicious kulfi dessert. Really enjoyed daal makhni, and potato based veggie appetizers. Friendly staff, welcoming & a lovely ambience. Easy to get reservations. ”
“ We just stopped by for a few drinks and had a good time. Masala chai was very spicy! Chia seeds in lassi was a great idea ”
“ I made reservations at Jaks for a party of 30. As soon as I put in my large group request, Michael reached out to me and helped me with all the arrangements. Upon arrival, they were still setting our tables up but did allow us in the private room so we could hang out. We quickly ordered drinks and they came out pretty much right away. Then they started with the appetizers. OMG! So many varieties I didn't know what to eat first. Everything was great! Michael was amazing from the beginning and the staff took really good care of us. We had a great time and will definitely be back again! ”
“ Upscale Indian restaurant near the Whole Foods, with nice Indian decor. Street parking is tough so parked in the Whole Foods lot and walked. We ordered seafood bhaja platter, butter chicken and chicken parda biryani. The seafood platter was spicy and just the we like it with sea bass, squid and prawns. Chicken parda biryani was ok. Butter chicken was tasty but the chicken pieces are not chunk sized but bigger like fillet size. Kids were disappointed that they don't have naans. Only ghee paratha. Entrees were expensive but portions were large. We ordered virgin mojitos for kids. They were happy. I got Paan ki G-Rita which is a paan based cocktail. Nice taste. Overall expensive place with a few decent tasting items. Hope they will expand their menu to have basic things like butter naan and garlic naan. ”
“ such a beautiful aesthetic location as well as good service and delicious food! goan balchao - five pieces of spicy!!! shrimp with mini toasted bread which was a hard and tough to chew. the flavor of the shrimp was still good tho! didn't love that this was $28 for what is was pani batashe - my favorite appetizer esp after the spicy shrimp dish which help calm the spice. the was a burst of flavor from the pani puri water with a nice crunch pardha murgh biryani - deliciously savory with a kick of spice as well! it paired well with the side sauce of sour cream/yogurt as a good neutralizer for the spicy! appreciate our waitress for cutting the bread for us overall good place for high-end elevated indian food with luxury aesthetics which is a good excuse to dress up ”
“ I was looking for a place that had chaat! Jaks popped up, so I thought I'd give it a try! When you first walk in the ambience is actually very nice and it's great for a group setting and something a little bit more on the fancier side . The food itself was very beautifully plated. I would say I enjoyed the appetizers more than the entrée so if I came back, I would probably just get the appetizers. The drinks were very good. I'm not sure if it was intended, but what I didn't like was the texture of the paratha used. I like it a little bit more fluffy with more bounce or if they could just have some naan. Service was also very on top of things! Overall, a great experience. ”
